概述

管理 is fundamental to every company, business and not-for-profit organization. Each of these has some way of setting its directions and goals, deciding how it will achieve its goals, leading its people to work toward achieving the goals and monitoring operations to see that goals have been achieved. This is the set of activities that makes up the exciting field called “management.” This is an especially exciting time as the practice of management evolves to meet new challenges.

The courses offered in the 管理项目 are designed to meet the needs of students interested in managing the fit between organizations and their environment. In addition to serving business majors, the program offers courses of interest to any student in the University.

管理 is fundamental to any organization. Courses offered in the curriculum help students build skills in strategic management, 组织行为, human resources management, 组织设计, 和创业. 管理 majors take a series of courses that develop a foundation for effective management practice.

The management major prepares students for a general management career. 研究生s of the management program typically find employment in the following sectors: manufacturing, 零售, 政府, 技术, 国际, 和服务. Some graduates start their own businesses.
